I am a fine art photographer, professional photographer, qualified photography lecturer and graphic designer. I live and work in a small village situated on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society and have an MA in Art, Design and Visual Culture, (photography). Set in the lovely surroundings of the Thornham estate, the Beyond the Image photography gallery has regularly changing, imaginative photographic exhibitions, workshops and exhibition space for photographers, artists and students. The gallery is surrounded by woodland, footpaths (Thornham Walks) and the Thornham Walled Garden is nearby.

I’m Shelley, a BA photography graduate and former rhino keeper with a huge passion for photographing nature.
The club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at (07:30 p.m. in the Old School Room, Market Street, Mendlesham). The club has a varied itinery throughout the year guaranteed to inspire photographers of any level and experience.
The club meetings are informal with each member displaying their photographs based on a monthly theme, followed by a short tuition session led by one of the members. The subjects chosen for the tuition are usually decided by the group, typicaly arising out of questions raised during meetings.
All levels of photographers are welcome to join, from the absolute beginner to the expert. Help and guidance is always available to develop your technique and improve your photographs.
